Grazinglands Research Laboratory
Main Building
The Grazinglands Research Laboratory is located near El Reno, OK on historic
Fort Reno. The laboratory currently has a budget of 4 million dollars,
35 federal and state employees including 9 research and 7 support scientists.
Facilities are being upgraded to support an expanded mission. The
Laboratory conducts its research on the 7000 acre campus consisting of
3500 acres of tall-grass native prairie that has never been plowed.
Scientists at the Laboratory have published over 600 journal articles,
research reports, and abstracts over the last ten years. The journal
articles were published in national and international scientific publications
and the research was scrutinized for its contribution to science.
